2. Thickness
3cm slabs are the standard for kitchens and cost more than 2cm. Thicker stone means fewer seams and a more substantial edge, so most homeowners find the upgrade worthwhile.
3. Edge Profile
Eased and beveled edges are usually included. Ogee, bullnose, and mitered waterfall edges add fabrication time, and therefore cost. A waterfall island is the most dramatic (and most labor-intensive) option.
4. Cutouts and Details
Sink cutouts, cooktop openings, faucet holes, and full-height backsplashes each add fabrication steps. Undermount sink cutouts with polished interiors take more work than drop-in openings.
5. Removal and Disposal
